Nekoadz is a collection of 6,969 small, warty, amphibious creatures. Toadz used to haunt a corner of the metaverse until Neko taught them how to walk. This is an experiment in bringing Toadz with us — not as JPEGs in a wallet, but as companions on the machines we sit at.
The name is a mashup. CrypToadz x Neko. GREMPLIN gave them their faces (and peperoni nipples) and Neko, an opensource Japanese desktop pet from the 1980s, powers these freaks to roam free and live on the screen you actually use. One lineage is amphibious. The other followed cursors for decades. Here they share a body.
